ORDER:
In the G.O. first read above, rules have been issued on Andhra Pradesh Private Colleges of Nursing-(Grant of Permission to Private Colleges or institutions and admissions into B.Sc., Nursing courses) Rules, 1997. Government After careful consideration have decided to review the Rules and to make amendments to the said rules, prescribing the revised procedure for grant of permission for establishment of private B.Sc. Nursing Colleges, duly dispensing with the payment of security deposit.
Accordingly, the following Notification will be published in the next issue Andhra Pradesh Gazette, dated the 10th April, 2003.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 99 of Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982 (Act 1 of 1982) the governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby issue the following amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Private Colleges of Nursing (Grant of Permission to Private Colleges or Institutions and admissions into B.Sc. Nursing Courses) Rules, 1997 issued in G.O. Ms.No. 145, HM&FW (M2) Department Dt. 18-05-1998 and as amended from time to time.
In the said rules,
(ii) Essentiality Certificate/intimation shall be issued to the proposed Private B.Sc. Nursing Colleges, imposing the conditions that the Private Institution concerned shall obtain affiliation duly fulfilling the conditions stipulated by Nursing Council of India, New Delhi, N.T.R. University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada and clearance of Nursing Council of India. All the proposed Private Institutions shall fulfill all the conditions stipulated by Government, Andhra Pradesh Nursing and Midwifery Council, Hyderabad, N.T.R. University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada within a period of six months from the date of issue of Government orders.
(iii) In respect of establishment of private B.Sc Nursing Colleges, the N.T.R University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada shall communicate final decision of acceptance or rejection as the case may be, to the proposed institutions within a period of three months from the date of clearance by Nursing Council of India, New Delhi.

(iv) The proposed B.Sc. Nursing Colleges shall fulfill all the conditions as prescribed by the Government in the final orders issued, before establishing the institution within a period of one year from the date of issue of orders of Government. In case, the Educational Society fails to fulfill the conditions or fails to start the course with in a period of one year, the permission will be cancelled.
? 18 Annual Affiliation Fee:- There shall be an annual affiliation fee as prescribed by the N.T.R University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada and shall be paid to the N.T.R. University of Health Sciences by the Proposed Private institutions of B.Sc., Nursing Colleges which are issued the essentiality Certificate by Government.?
