ORDER:
The following amendment are issued to G.O.Ms.No.267 HM&FW (E1) Department, Dated: 14-7-1997.
For items 2 and 3 occurring in para-1 of G.O.Ms.No. 267 HM&FW Deptt., dated: 14-7-1997 the following shall be substituted.
(2) The Government vide orders 2nd read above approved the number of institutions of each category in each and every District of the State. The Committee will publish an advertisement in important national and local newspapers calling for applications from interested parties indicating in the advertisement the number of institutions which would be located in each district.
(3) The existing applications pending with Government shall be returned to the concerned applicants with suggestion to submit applications afresh in pursuance to advertisement to be issued by the Committee. However, such applications pending with the Government with specific directions of the Honourable High Court, shall be referred to the Committee for recommendations along with the other applications, received by the committee in pursuance of the advertisement.
For para (3) of the said G.O. the following shall be substituted:
? In respect of Para-medical Courses (a) Cardiology Services (b) Anesthesia Services (c) E.N.T Services (d) Nephrology Services, (e) Dental Services and (f) Respiratory Therapy, they have to be restricted to places where teaching facilities are available.

The Committee which consists of experts will decide the institutions where the above courses are to be started and also number of seats that can be permitted institution-wise for imparting training. In respect of imparting in General Courses Viz., (a) Laboratory Services (b) Ophthalmic Services and (c) Radiology and imagelogy, the number of institutions will be decided with reference to applications received by the Committee.
