ORDER:

 

 

            According to Rule 16(a) of the Andhra Pradesh General Nurse Training Institutions (Admission into General Nurse Training and grant of permission to Private school of Nursing) Rules, 1997 first read above, the rules are applicable to the existing the institutions also and if the existing Institutions having  any deficiencies as per the stipulations of the rules shall make good  such deficiencies  within a period of one year from the date of  issue of the above rules which includes maintaining the Security Deposit of Rs. 5.00 lakhs or Rs. 2.50 lakhs  for a period of 5 years in the Nationalised Bank as per Rule 17 (1) of the above  rules  as the case may be as an evidence of the financial credibility  of the school of Nursing.

 

           

2.         Government after having examined the  matter further in consultation with the President, Andhra Pradesh  Nurses and Midwives Council and Director of Medical Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad  hereby decided and order that those existing  schools of Nursing which are functioning for more than five years  without any complaint shall be exempted from the provision of  Rule 17 (1) and (2) of the Rules first read above and shall be  applicable in respect of those existing  schools of Nursing  which have not completed five years of complaint free functioning.  The  Security Deposit in respect of such schools shall be made by  the  management only for the balance  number  of years (i.e., the difference between five (5) and the number of years of functioning).

 

 

3.         The President, Andhra Pradesh Nursing and Midwives Council and Director of Medical Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad shall issue notices to the Correspondents/principals of all the existing Schools of Nursing in the entire State including  Correspondent of the Mediciti school of Nursing, Ghanpur,  Shamirpet, Ranga Reddy District, Hyderabad to comply  with the   provisions of Rule 16 (a) and also Rule 17 (1) and (2) of the  rules first read above as clarified at Para (2) above.
